Quality tropical fish locally bred & raised in clean Tasmanian rain water & fully planted aquariums.

I’ve been keeping and breeding fish since I was 6 years old. A 3rd generation fish breeder taught by my father and late grandfather who have both passed on their knowledge and experience over the years.

While working as a landscaper in Darwin I contracted Ross River Virus in 2016 which resulted in permanent chronic fatigue rendering me disabled and being unable to work a normal job.

With over 35 years experience in the fish hobby as well as industry experience in aquaculture and ornamental fish farming, I thought it would be a good time to share my skills and knowledge now that I finally have time for breeding and raising fish.

This is now my main hobby which keeps me busy when I have the energy to do so. I don’t see any profit from this and all my time is donated. All sales are re-invested back into the hobby and help pay the hefty power bill, fish foods, meds, fertilisers, equipment etc.

My focus is to produce a small selection of high quality fish, directly to the local Tasmanian community with a massively reduced carbon footprint.

I keep and breed a selection of smaller, often harder to find and breed fish species such as Apistogramma and Ram Dwarf Cichlids, various Tetras, Corydoras catfish, small Plecos as well as Endlers Livebearers, Platy, Rainbowfish and other occasional oddities and experiments for fun.

I breed and raise my fish in established aquarium ecosystems with growing plants that help naturally filter the water.

I provide a varied and balanced diet including as much live food as possible to compliment the best quality frozen and dried foods I can find along with providing constant water changes and careful monitoring of each fish.

I only sell the best fish I have in stock and I won’t let any fish go that is below par.
